Kitchen Porter – Flexible Hours – Hertfordshire & Essex (Public Transport Accessible Locations)

Appetite4Work is seeking experienced Kitchen Porters to support events and venues across Hertfordshire and Essex.

Due to remote locations and variable shift patterns (early starts and late finishes), reliable access to public transport is essential for these Kitchen Porter roles.

About the Role – Kitchen Porter

As a Kitchen Porter, you will:

Wash and maintain clean kitchen equipment and utensils
Keep kitchen areas hygienic, tidy, and safe
Support chefs with basic kitchen duties during busy service
Assist front-of-house teams when needed
Work flexibly across multiple client sites and events

Requirements – Kitchen Porter

Previous kitchen porter experience is essential
Reliable access to public transport (required)
Ability to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends
Reliable, professional, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
Good communication and teamwork skills
Eligibility to work in the UK

Pay & Benefits – Kitchen Porter

£12.21 – £13.00 per hour, depending on client and location
Holiday pay is accrued separately.
