Appetite4Work are recruiting for temporary festive staff to work at a school-based ice rink in Benenden, Kent, throughout December!

We are looking for reliable, friendly and enthusiastic individuals who can commit to working the majority of the available dates over the festive period!

Roles Available:

Reception / Ticket Scanning Staff – 2 positions
Coffee Shop Trained Baristas – 2 positions
Skate Hire Assistants – 3 positions

Dates & Hours:

Dates: Friday 11th December – Thursday 31st December

Christmas Day: Closed – no shift on 25th December

Shift hours: 09:00 – 21:00

Due to the location and shift times, you must be able to reliably travel to and from the venue each day. Driving staff are encouraged to apply.

About You:

We are looking for people who are:

Reliable and punctual

Friendly and approachable

Comfortable working long shifts

Confident working with members of the public and children

Able to commit to the majority of the December dates

Able to travel independently to and from the venue

Professional and well-presented

Previous hospitality, customer service, barista, reception or leisure experience is beneficial depending on the role

Important – Enhanced DBS Required

As this role is based within a school environment, successful applicants will be required to complete an Appetite4Work Enhanced DBS check before commencing work.

The role will involve working on a school site, so applicants must be comfortable completing the required safeguarding and background-check process.
