Appetite4Work is seeking an Assistant Chef (Commis level) for a seasonal role at a stunning manor estate and activity centre near Woodbridge. If you are a chef looking for a guaranteed run of work in a professional kitchen from the spring right through to the autumn, this is the perfect opportunity.

What to Expect

You will be supporting the Chef De Partie and Head Chef in a high-volume cooking environment. Feeding hundreds of hungry guests every single day, which means plenty of prep and fast-paced service. With multiple sittings for every meal, you need to be a chef who understands that being on time is everything. It’s a busy, social, and rewarding place to work where no two days are the same.

The Details

Hours: 40 hours per week.
Pay: £28,741 per annum (pro-rata).
Live-in: On-site accommodation is available at a cost (handled via a pre-tax deduction).
Compliance: Because this is an educational activity site, an Enhanced DBS check is essential. We manage and pay for this as part of your onboarding.

Previous experience in a professional kitchen or catering environment.
