Pay: £12.21 per hour + holiday pay | Weekly Pay Every Friday

As a Kitchen Assistant, you’ll be preparing fresh sandwiches, paninis, and simple hot meals. You’ll also be serving customers at the deli counter, so confidence, clear spoken English, and a smart appearance are essential.

Shift pattern: Monday to Friday, 07:00–14:30 (with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break). That’s 35 hours a week with no evenings or weekends.

This Kitchen Assistant job is ideal for anyone looking to work around school hours or who has other evening commitments – but we’re happy to speak with anyone who can reliably commute to Hemel Hempstead for a 7am start.

This is a temporary role on a zero-hour contract, with regular weekday shifts and a potential permanent position for the right person.
