Our client is looking for an energetic and motivated Kitchen Manager to take the lead in a busy kitchen operation. This is a hands-on role where you'll inspire your team, maintain outstanding standards, and ensure every dish leaves the kitchen with quality, consistency, and care.


About the Role


As Kitchen Manager, you'll be at the heart of the operation, setting the standard every day. Working alongside your team, you'll drive performance, support development, and create a positive culture where people can flourish.

From managing rotas and budgets to ensuring food safety compliance and achieving service targets, you'll keep the kitchen running smoothly while delivering an exceptional dining experience for every customer.


What You'll Be Doing

  • Leading, motivating and inspiring a high-performing kitchen team
  • Preparing, cooking and presenting food to company standards
  • Driving excellent customer satisfaction through great food and service
  • Managing staffing, schedules and resources effectively
  • Coaching, mentoring and developing team members
  • Conducting performance reviews and providing regular feedback
  • Ensuring food delivery time targets are consistently achieved
  • Maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness through a clean-as-you-go approach
  • Ensuring all opening and closing procedures are completed correctly
  • Monitoring compliance with food safety, health & safety and company policies
  • Supporting promotions, events and new product launches
  • Resolving operational challenges quickly and effectively


What We're Looking For

You'll be a confident leader with a passion for hospitality and a proven ability to get the best from your team.

You'll have:

  • Previous experience in a Kitchen Manager or senior kitchen leadership role
  • Strong people management and coaching skills
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
  • A hands-on approach and willingness to lead by example
  • Knowledge of food safety, health & safety and compliance standards
  • The ability to work flexibly across a 7-day operation
  • A positive, can-do attitude and commitment to high standards

Salary: £33,000 per annum

Hours: 36 hours per week

Working Pattern: Flexible shifts across 5 days from 7

Operating Hours: 8:00am to 11:00pm
