Temporary School Chefs Needed – All Levels | London | £16+ per hour

Are you a passionate and reliable chef looking for flexible work across London? We are currently recruiting Temporary School Chefs of all levels to support a range of client sites throughout London.

The Role

You will be working within school kitchens, supporting catering teams in delivering nutritious, high-quality meals for students and staff. Assignments are available across multiple locations in London, offering variety and consistent opportunities.

Pay Rate

Starting from £16+ per hour, with rates depending on your level of experience and role.

Requirements

Minimum 6 months’ experience working in a school or similar catering environment

* A valid Enhanced DBS certificate (issued within the last 2 years or registered on the Update Service) – essential

* Relevant training certificates, including:

* Food Hygiene

* Health & Safety

* Allergen Awareness

* Professional chef whites and knives (required for certain sites)

* A strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to adapt to different kitchen environments

Support & Training

If your certifications have expired or you do not currently hold a DBS, we can support you with:

* Refresher training courses

* Assistance with obtaining a new DBS
