About the Role

As a Kitchen Porter, you'll play a vital role in keeping the kitchen running smoothly by supporting chefs, maintaining cleanliness and ensuring the kitchen meets the highest hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, utensils, pots and pans.
• Keep kitchen and food preparation areas clean and organised.
• Assist chefs with basic food preparation when required.
• Receive and store deliveries correctly.
• Dispose of waste safely and maintain hygiene standards.
• Follow food safety, allergen and health & safety procedures.
• Support the kitchen team during busy service periods.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience as a Kitchen Porter (KP) is preferred but not essential.
• A strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• A positive, reliable and professional attitude.
• Full UK driving licence preferred, but not required. Due to the variety of school locations, being able to travel independently is an advantage.
• Right to work in the UK.
