Staffing Assistant – Large Venue

We’re looking for a proactive, people‑driven Staffing Assistant to help recruit, organise, and support a large team of waiting and bar staff, ensuring every event runs seamlessly in one of London’s most iconic event spaces, hosting everything from high‑profile corporate functions to unforgettable celebrations.


What you’ll be doing:

  • Recruiting, onboarding, and scheduling a high‑volume team of waiting and bar staff – busiest days can see up-to 200 shifts filled.
  • Managing rotas to ensure we’re always fully staffed and prepared for every event
  • Acting as a key point of contact for both staff and the client, maintaining strong, positive relationships and resolving everyday issues.
  • Ensuring high standards of punctuality, behaviour and dress code are upheld.
  • Ensuring your team feels valued, motivated, and equipped to deliver exceptional service
  • Ensuring all team members are paid accurately and on time
  • Communicating confidently with staff and clients both in person and over the phone
  • Working closely with the wider operations team to maintain consistently high standards


What we’re looking for

  • Experience working in hospitality — essential
  • Experience in staffing, recruitment, or a similar coordination role would be highly beneficial
  • Confident, organised, and great with people
  • A natural communicator who enjoys talking to people face‑to‑face and on the phone
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to stay calm under pressure
  • A problem‑solver who enjoys keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes and contributing to a positive work place.


Your working week will be based around 8.30-5.30pm Monday to Friday with a requirement for some early starts and late finishes where required – with time given in Lieu. There is also a weekend on call rota which is approx. 1-2 days per month with time given back. You will manage your own week. Based from either our office in London Bridge or our client in Moorgate.
