Staffing and Recruitment Assistant

I’m looking for a new Staffing & Recruitment Assistant to join us at Appetite4work, we have offices in London, Surrey and Sussex

If you’ve spent your career in hospitality, you know the buzz is great, but the lifestyle can be a bit hectic at times. We’re looking for someone who still loves the industry but wants to use that experience to help us run the show from the office and out on-site at events and venues.

What the role looks like:

This isn't a desk job where you’ll be staring at a screen all day. It’s a real mix of:

• Sourcing the right people: Chatting with chefs and front of house professionals, figuring out who’s got the right skills to join our temporary teams.
• On-site check-ins: You’ll be at the venues and events, making sure the team is arriving promptly and in , troubleshooting on the go and keeping our clients happy.
• The Admin: Handling paperwork to make sure everyone is compliant and, most importantly, paid on time.

Who we’re looking for:

We don’t want people who just want a 9-5 to hide away in. We need someone who:

• Has been there and done it. You understand how the industry works and what makes a good team tick.
• Is a natural communicator. You’re comfortable talking to everyone, from a new KP to a high-end client.
• Is organised but flexible. You can manage your own time but don't panic when an event plan changes last minute.
