We are currently recruiting General Assistants to work a 6-week placement with a well-established local food supplier in Andover. This is a great opportunity for individuals looking for consistent weekday hours in a friendly catering environment, supporting an experienced team during a busy operational period.

The role would suit someone with previous kitchen or catering experience who enjoys working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food hygiene.

📍 Location

Andover, SP11 8EZ

🧑‍🍳 The Role

You will be supporting the catering team with:

• Basic food preparation

• General support to the wider team

• Maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen and dining areas

• Some pot wash and general kitchen duties

This is a hands-on role requiring teamwork, efficiency and a positive attitude.

💰 Pay – £12.60/hour plus holiday pay, paid weekly every Friday

⏰ Hours – 08:30 – 14:30 Mon – Fri (no weekends)

📅 Start Date – 16th March – 24th April

📄 Contract – 0 hours, however this is a 6 week placement so shifts are guaranteed

✅ Requirements

• Previous catering or kitchen assistant experience preferred

• Reliable and punctual

• Reliable travel to and from the site each day

• Good understanding of food hygiene standards

• Must have the right to work in the UK
