We're looking for reliable, professional chefs to join our temporary agency team at Appetite4Work. This role is for experienced Chef de Partie or Sous Chefs who drive and have access to their own vehicle. Work is local across Hertfordshire, no long-distance travel, no school or care settings. Just solid, flexible pub and hospitality work with weekly pay.

This is agency work with no guaranteed hours. You choose your shifts, but we need chefs who turn up, communicate clearly, and can handle short-notice weekday and weekend shifts.

What you’ll actually be doing:

Supporting pubs and hospitality venues during busy periods
Cooking to spec, managing prep, service, and cleaning down
Jumping into different kitchens and adapting to each team

You must have:

Your own transport – non-negotiable for this role
Up-to-date Level 2 Food Safety and Allergens Awareness training (we can provide this if expired)
Chef whites, apron, hat, knives, and suitable footwear

Essential:

Punctual, reliable, and professional
Able to work at short notice, weekdays and weekends
Confident working in different kitchens without handholding

Desirable:

Experience working in pubs or branded kitchens
Able to work across lunch and dinner services
Willing to commit to regular work with our team

You must have the right to work in the UK.
