Sous Chef - Events - £18 per hour

The Role

You'll be joining an established events catering business based in Billericay as part of their Sous Chef team, working across a calendar of weddings, golf club functions, and a range of private and corporate events throughout Essex. You'll work alongside fellow Sous Chefs under the Head Chef, who also owns the business, contributing to services across different venues and occasions, making sure food goes out on time, to standard, every time.

The role is rota-based across all seven days, with a mix of morning, afternoon, and evening shifts including both singles and doubles. Full flexibility across the week is essential. You'll also need your own transport, as events are spread across Essex and shifts don't always run to a nine-to-five timetable.

Hours are 45 to 50 per week, with at least one full weekend off guaranteed every month.
