Event Catering Kitchen Assistants

Appetite4Work are looking for reliable and enthusiastic Event Catering Kitchen Assistants to support our catering team in delivering exceptional food and service at a range of events. You’ll help with food preparation, kitchen setup, and maintaining cleanliness and organisation throughout service.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, has great attention to detail, and takes pride in teamwork and high standards of hygiene.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist chefs with food preparation and plating during events
• Set up and clean down kitchen and catering areas
• Ensure all equipment and workspaces are kept clean and safe
• Support with stock handling and deliveries
• Work efficiently as part of a team to meet event timelines

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a kitchen or catering environment preferred
• Knowledge of basic food hygiene and safety standards
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
