Barista – Mobile Coffee Cart (Zero-Hour Contract)

We’re hiring an Barista to join a unique mobile coffee business, serving high-quality drinks at events across Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire.

This is a zero-hour, temporary contract role with flexible shifts. We are looking for someone who is available to work the next confirmed event which is in Hemel Hempsted on Sunday 8th June 0900-1500.

About the role:

• Work side-by-side with the business owner, who is also a barista
• Serve up speciality coffee and unique drinks from a small mobile coffee cart
• Events include both outdoor and indoor venues
• Set up and pack down the cart before and after events
• Provide friendly and efficient customer service in busy environments
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene throughout the shift

Must-haves:

• Experience using a pull-lever espresso machine (not essential, but manual coffee machine experience is is must, including knowledge of latte art.
• Outgoing and confident with strong communication skills
• Reliable and professional
• Comfortable working independently and in close partnership with the business owner

Nice-to-haves:

• UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (due to varying event locations)
