VIP Waiting Staff - Exclusive School Leavers' Day & Summer Ball | Hertfordshire

We're looking for experienced waiting staff and event servers for a prestigious private school's leavers' celebrations on Saturday, 27th June, near Ware in Hertfordshire. It's a two-part day - a formal leavers' event followed by a glamorous evening summer ball - and the expectations are sky high.

You'll deliver polished service, serve food and drink, including alcohol, and ensure every moment runs seamlessly for guests. This isn't a gig for beginners. You'll need previous hospitality experience at events of this calibre, and the confidence to match.

Three shift patterns are available so you can choose the one that suits you best: 08:00–17:00, 11:00–20:00, or 14:00–01:00.

What you'll get:

£13.01 per hour plus holiday pay, paid weekly every Friday into your account via PAYE. No chasing invoices, no monthly waits - you work, you get paid, simple. You'll need an enhanced DBS check for this role, and if you don't already have one, we'll cover the cost.

You will need your own transport to reach the venue near Ware, Hertfordshire - this one isn't on a bus route.

What we need from you:

Previous experience working as a waiter, a server, or a front-of-house staff member at formal events or fine dining. You need to be confident, presentable, and comfortable serving alcohol. You'll need an enhanced DBS check, but as mentioned, we'll cover the cost. And you'll need reliable transport to get yourself to and from the venue.
