Casual Event Manager

We are looking for an experienced, organised and enthusiastic event manager to join us at Appetite4Work.

As Event Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the smooth and successful delivery of events, managing teams, coordinating with clients, and ensuring the highest standards of hospitality and service are maintained throughout.

You will be confident working in a fast-paced environment, able to think on your feet and comfortable taking ownership of an event from start to finish.

What we’re looking for:

• Strong background in fine dining environments, with a clear understanding of high service standards.

• Oversee event set-ups to ensure they are executed exactly as outlined in the function sheet.

• Confident in leading detailed briefings to ensure every team member understands their role in delivering a successful event.

• Ensure all events run smoothly and are delivered on time according to the agreed schedule.

• Work closely with the Kitchen and Events team to guarantee seamless coordination and exceptional guest experiences.

• Comprehensive knowledge of the full event and meeting lifecycle, from initial concept through to final delivery.

• Comfortable managing multiple events and priorities in a fast-paced environment and performing well under pressure.

• Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.

• Clear, professional communicator with strong written and verbal skills.

• Proactive and solution-focused, able to adapt quickly to challenges and opportunities.

• Strong strategic mindset with excellent critical thinking abilities.

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in event management as an Event Manager or Event Supervisor.
