Are you a reliable and dedicated Kitchen Assistant seeking flexible work across London? We are currently looking for Temporary Kitchen Assistants to support a range of care home and school settings throughout the city.

The Role

You’ll support kitchen teams by assisting with food preparation and service, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring high standards of food safety and hygiene at all times.

Pay Rate

Starting at £13 per hour, depending on experience and assignment.

Requirements

At least 6 months’ experience in a care home, school, or similar catering setting
A valid Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the DBS Update Service is essential for this role
Relevant training certificates, including:
Food Hygiene
Health & Safety
Allergen Awareness
Willingness to travel to different locations across London
Strong teamwork skills, reliability, and a positive attitude

Important DBS Requirement

Please note: due to the nature of working in care homes and schools, candidates must have an Enhanced DBS that is currently registered on the DBS Update Service. Applications without this will not be prioritised.

If your DBS is not on the Update Service or has expired, we can assist you in applying for a new one before work can commence.
