Hospitality Floor Manager - London VIP Events Venue – Full Time – IMMEDIATE START
Our client is looking for a Floor Manager to assist with the daily operation of various events, throughout the multiple event spaces within their VIP hospitality venue.
The client is looking for the candidate to start ASAP.
Based in Central London, you can expect to be managing teams for receptions, dinners, and conferences for both intimate groups, as well as large scale functions throughout the season.
This role would be suitable for an individual with proven, extensive experience as an Events Manager, or an experienced Events Supervisor who is looking to climb to a managerial role in an exciting, fast-paced events venue on a full-time basis.
Job Type: Full Time
Salary: £35,000-40,000 p.a
Working Schedule: Mon – Fri, with occasional weekend and evening work as required.
Start Date: To start ASAP
What we’re looking for:
- Strong background in fine dining environments, with a clear understanding of high service standards.
- Oversee event set-ups to ensure they are executed exactly as outlined in the function sheet.
- Confident in leading detailed briefings to ensure every team member understands their role in delivering a successful event.
- Ensure all events run smoothly and are delivered on time according to the agreed schedule.
- Work closely with the Kitchen and Events team to guarantee seamless coordination and exceptional guest experiences.
- Responsible for both short and long-term planning, and overall management of events.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the full event and meeting lifecycle, from initial concept through to final delivery.
- Comfortable managing multiple events and priorities in a fast-paced environment and performing well under pressure.
- Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.
- Clear, professional communicator with strong written and verbal skills.
- Proactive and solution-focused, able to adapt quickly to challenges and opportunities.
- Strong strategic mindset with excellent critical thinking abilities.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in event management as an Event Manager or Event Supervisor.
