We are looking for an organised, grounded Catering Team Leader to manage the dining hall and service side of a busy outdoor activity centre in Cromer. This is a seasonal role starting Mid-February/March, perfect for a hospitality professional who likes a fast-paced environment and knows how to lead a team.
What to Expect
You are the vital link between the kitchen and the guests. With multiple sittings for every meal and a strict schedule to follow, you’ll be leading a team of assistants to ensure everyone is fed on time. You’ll manage the flow of school groups, keep the service area spotless, and make sure the kitchen and front-of-house teams are in total sync. It’s high-energy and requires a proactive leader who can stay calm when the dining hall is full.
The Details
- Hours: 40 hours per week, including weekends.
- Pay: £28,741 per annum (pro-rata). Weekly pay every Friday.
- Live-in: On-site accommodation is available if you aren't local. Note: Live-in comes at a cost, which is a pre-tax deduction.
- Compliance: In line with the Education Act, an Enhanced DBS check is mandatory. We will facilitate and pay for this check before you start.
What You’ll Need
- Previous supervisory experience in high-volume catering, holiday parks, or busy hospitality venues.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to lead a team through a busy service.
- A professional, grounded attitude and a focus on delivering great service on time.
